The increasing number of incidents in container shipping involving batteries has led to stricter regulations on the part of shipowners.

On 01.01.2025, we will introduce a cross-trade surcharge for imports and exports that includes both the EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime.

We would like to inform you that the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) for exports to Cameroon may no longer be issued by consolidated container.

The already known EU ETS surcharge will be increased from 2025, as the proportion of emissions for which emission allowances must be surrendered will increase from 40% to 70% (100% in 2026).
